Brian is the owner of Steam Spirit, and has been patient in rebuilding it for the past 10 years. Over the years he has been adopted by Louis, who shares the Museum with him.
Katlin is Brian's granddaughter, who has grown up refurbishing Steam Spirit and painting the wheels faithfully over and over again.
Joe is Brian's son and Katlin's father, who has been together with Steam Spirit since the very beginning. He has conquered Steam Spirit, and is branded for life with its steam heritage.
Restored one and restoring 2 more. Lots of hard work, sleepless nights, cuts and scrapes, couple of broken bones, wondering if it will all be worth it in the end. Having a great time and seems to be turning out really great. Always helps to have a loving and understanding wife, Mary!

My passion for steam and mechanical addiction brought me to help build Steam Spirit in her early days. I am proud to have had a hand in the rebirth and look forward to the new horizon that the Great Dorset Steam Fair will dawn.
Wyatt is the younger and taller Grandson of Wayne and has been around steam engines since he was a baby. He has worked at the Ontario Steam Heritage Museum for his Grandfather for the past three summers.
Jared is the older Grandson of Wayne and has also been around steam engines for over 18 years, since the museums beginning. He is also looking forward to the opportunity to be a part of Steam Spirit at the Dorset show.
Wayne is the proud President of the Ontario Steam Heritage Museum in Puslinch Ontario, that has been home to Steam Spirit and to Brian (when he wasn’t at home sleeping) over the past 10 years throughout its re-build process.

I have completed and supported a good many traction engine restorations over the years. Steam Spirit is the most complete and thorough rebuild and probably the prettiest. I look forward to witnessing her Great Dorset Steam Fair debut in person.
